Thank you! I'm glad I listened to the TLS advice and retook instead of settling for Pepperdine last year

Thank you! I'm glad I listened to the TLS advice and retook instead of settling for Pepperdine last year

Is this normal? Haven't heard back from anywhere I've been WL'ed at (or reserved at in Cornell's case) in well over a month.

I just assumed they meant reserve list since I knew from this thread that they hadn't shifted anyone onto the waitlist. Very odd that they haven't done it yet since classes start in like 6 weeks. Unless people are still turning down reserve offers and they haven't yet filled the class with people who've actually committed to attend. I still see a few newcomers joining the facebook group.

FWIW I called the admissions office today to ask them about the whole reserve/summer waitlist and they said that they have not made their summer waitlist yet, and are still accepting reserve candidates. Besides that, no other info or timeline. Crazy cycle this year...

If I was them I would just keep everyone on reserve. Realistically we are probably talking about less than 15-20 seats or perhaps even no seats left. To go through all the files a 3rd time and make up a wait list seems like a lot of work given that we are getting pretty close to when school starts.

Just so everyone is in the loop, I was placed on the summer waitlist this afternoon around 1:00pm, pretty disappointed but they requested a reply within two weeks (keeping in line with their history of being slow moving). I think I will accept, but will start to fully commit to my other school now! Best of luck to everyone else on reserve list!
