That is such a good reason to not go to work :D
I think it's a pretty solid reason.

pebblsrock wrote:Hey everyone, question here. I went complete at end of January (after applying late in December). My status just changed yesterday to 3/26, but it still says Complete, not UR or anything. Has this happened to anyone else? I'm a URM, reverse splitter. I don't take this as a good sign, necessarily, just curious.
That's the equivalent of being UR for Cornell. 2nd complete = UR1, 3rd complete = UR2
Thank you and the other person above who replied. That makes sense. Sorry to divert this thread from all the acceptance happiness for a second!

Jay, I have the same email update/timing situation. I guess it's not a bad thing. We're clearly on some sort of hold/waitlist, it's just not official. There are much worse outcomes IMO. Good luck and lettuce know if hear anything in the coming weeks.

Will do & I surely hope you are right.... Today was my first complete since 1/18. Honestly Cornell
is a huge huge stretch for me. I hope my unique story and very honest LOCI helped. I basically wrote them an official commitment to attend if accepted.

The wait is so hard. Regardless I'm preparing myself for a rejection. Don't want to pump myself too much

Does anyone know if they confirm receipt of financial aid materials? I haven't heard anything since faxing them in a few days ago. Thanks!
