I took it as an opportunity to send a short, but sweet LOCI.UselessKnowledge wrote:Would also like advice on this.mcs268 wrote:for those on reserve - when you email them to stay on it, are you making it like a LOCI are or you saving one for later? I just said "Please keep my name on the reserve list" or whatever. So no. My "elaboration" would be "I applied, so why not".mcs268 wrote:for those on reserve - when you email them to stay on it, are you making it like a LOCI are or you saving one for later? With a 3.1 169, would visiting the school be worth it? My numbers are probably low for the reserve list, but it's my last shot at t14 glory and ego.

Yep this. Also never been to NYC and not particularly wanting to stare down 200k of debt at graduation.
I started out this cycle being very much so T6 (and one other school) or bust but I've quickly learned that it's not Monopoly money, and I'm not okay being financially reckless for a slightly bigger biglaw shot and a shiny USNWR ranking.

Deferred in December. Had a status checker update yesterday AND today. I really do not know what to make of this. My hypothesis of a denial was contingent upon one last update (3/11) and then...kerplunk (imagine the sound that's made when you throw a big rock into a lake).
Thoughts?

And, you have now dashed my hopes since my last update was 3/8 lol. Looks like I may be in a ding wave.

Also, any thoughts on the new rankings? Cornell back up to 13 and Georgetown down to 14 (does one spot really matter that much?)
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
