Numbers?
166/3.6. It's a rejection or deferment until my rejection most certainly.

Exactly same here. Cheering for both of us to get quick (and good) decisions back!

I don't even know what gender you are, but it seems like we have similar levels of both anxiety and love for Cornell, so if we both end up there, please be my friend.

He's just an insecure freak. I really don't know what makes him think he's ever gonna be able to handle the stress of being a lawyer. If I were an admissions officer I'd read this thread just to make applicants like that wait until July before being rejected.

(PS: "cool people", no need to tell me what a jerk you think I am. I know/don't care :D )
Jerk.

Did anyone have to the Dean's Certification Letter bit? I was academic probation for a semester, so apparently I need to get this signed by the Dean of my undergrad??

It's usually not a big deal. Your Dean's office should deal with these types of things pretty regularly. Cornell even makes it very easy and gives you a form for them to fill out.

You might start with the dean of your college/school first before going to the dean of the whole university though especially if you go to a large undergrad. So say you are in the college of arts and sciences, go to the dean of arts and sciences first or the dean of whichever school you were in when you were put on academic probation.

Would mid-to-late December include after Christmas as well? Before new years obviously

I've wondered this too. Per the holiday schedule below, it looks like offices are actually closed between December 24-January 1, like a lot of universities are now doing. Nobody, including admissions staff, wants to come in on their day off, so I would put money on the fact that all EA applicants have a decision by December 21.

Someone on the previous page mentioned that they had called admissions, and they told her that EA applicants should expect a decision by the end of next week or so.
