I haven't been following the thread much, but I submitted my application on 1/1 and got an interview notification last week. Did my interview last night, so we will see.
How long after interviews did people hear back?

i think he was referring to the join dates/times just as much so as the name. any sarcastic explanation for that one?legallyblonde1893 wrote:Yes its a very unknown film, so it is extremely odd that we have both seen itelterrible78 wrote:You really should explore the actual law enforcement side of law, dude. It varies. Could be a few days after or even a few weeks. Had my interview 2/5 and haven't had any updates nor notifications yet.Ruthie wrote:I haven't been following the thread much, but I submitted my application on 1/1 and got an interview notification last week. Re: Georgetown c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013)
I have this theory that receiving the "consideration/finalist" emails is sufficient to assume that one may receive funding, but not necessary to actually receive funding. In other words, Gtown may have been using the emails as a tool in order to obtain more information from a certain group of potential scholarship recipients that they weren't so sure about while already having a group of individuals that they were certain would be receiving scholarship funds. The latter group would therefore not have received the emails because Gtown would not have needed any further info from them. Thoughts? It'll be interesting to see how it actually shakes out; whether every scholarship recipient also received the emails.

I have no idea if you're right or wrong but what is this theory based on?MacB wrote:I have this theory that receiving the "consideration/finalist" emails is sufficient to assume that one may receive funding, but not necessary to actually receive funding. I would be shocked if this was the case. It definitely seemed to me that everyone from the early batch who would've been under consideration received the e-mail. I don't doubt that they're holding some scholarship money for late admits, but I would highly doubt that they had a "super super select" group above the "select group" and "super select group" that we've already seen.MacB wrote:I have this theory that receiving the "consideration/finalist" emails is sufficient to assume that one may receive funding, but not necessary to actually receive funding. Have we established that GULC does not reimburse for admitted students travel costs?

Updates on 2/4, 2/5, 2/14, and 2/19. Any ideas? What should I be bracing myself for, or is this meaningless?

So no update for more than a month is probably a very bad thing right??

Just had my alumni interview. It was very pleasant and easy going. General discussion about what she liked about GULC, what I wanted from LS, how to use the university to my advantage, etc. Some more specific stuff about programs, finding work, internships, etc. Really happy with how it went down.

I had updates 2/12 and 2/14, and Heather in the admissions office told me that I should expect a decision on or around today 2/19 after my switch to ED went through three weeks ago. No envelope in the mail today, no WL or reject e-mail yet, and I'm off on vacation until Saturday.racrfish wrote:Updates on 2/4, 2/5, 2/14, and 2/19. Any ideas? Hi all,
I was recently put on hold by GULC , i sent in an LOCI via snail mail several weeks ago . GULC has however not acknowledged receipt. Do you think its advisable to re-send the LOCI via email?? All opinions are welcome. Thanks in advance!!
