After looking at last year blog, it takes about 4 days for your username and password to work after your last update. I am in the same situation!

WOOOO see ya in august then. trying to figure out my crummy florida lease situation right now. Trying to psych myself up to go downstairs and ask what my options are since I can't sublet/don't want to screw over my roommate.

Checking in. App submitted today after Dec LSAT.
171/4.0. Feeling relatively good but late app and 167 (below median) on the record are a couple of reasons for concern.
Couple questions...
1) How long does it take after submitting to get a received e-mail? And then how long until a complete email? Is there a status checker?
2) What type of timetable are we seeing for decisions? For me, should I be expecting an answer in March/April?
3) For those admitted, whats the status on merit aid? Do they provide it with your offer of admission? Or do you get a letter a month later? Do you need to apply afterwards for it?
4) For those admitted / denied, how were you informed of their decision? I'm still stranded from my apartment because of Sandy and USPS mail forwarding is spotty, at best.
Hoya Saxa, its been so long since last we met.

Checking in after submitting on Jan 2!
Sorry if this has been addressed elsewhere, but could someone please let me know what Georgetown's policies are for interviews? I saw some mention of interviews, or group interviews, in previous pages of this thread. I live pretty far from DC; will they still ask for an on-campus interview? or skype? How do they decide who to invite for interviews? Thanks so much!

Re: Georgetown c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013)
From what I've read here it seems that invites for alumni interviews tend to be for borderline applicants they aren't so sure about. As far as group interviews go, I'm a little unclear as it seems that some have been invited to take part in them whereas my school offered it to us openly for anyone interested.swordking90 wrote:Checking in after submitting on Jan 2!

For the alumni interviews I know they try to match you with someone in your area (so not just DC), then if they can't find anyone in your area, they will do phone/skype interviews. For the group interviews, since they were offered at my undergrad I can't speak on where they usually take place.
Hope that helps!

Hey everybody, I have a request.
If anyone here has used mylsn.info (LinkRemoved) and it has proven to tremendously aid you in the law school admissons process, please consider voting for LSATSCORES2012 in this poll. He is the creator of this tool and because of the degree to which it has aided me in my application process, I feel he should without a doubt be the winner of the tittle, "Most helpful poster" for 2012. If you agree with me, please vote for him too.
Thanks!
