If you start homebrewing today you'll be pouring your first beers about the same time schools really ramp up acceptances.

My general game plan is to be consistently buzzed for the next six months. That would work well, as my own brew would probably be done by the time my stock runs out.

Just received the admission email 7 hours ago! :D
It is quite a relief b/c as an international applicant, it is hard to predict a result. Now that I got in @GULC, I can finally rest assured.
Good luck guys!

Congrats, I didn't know they sent acceptances through e mail. Guess it isn't snail mail exclusive. Maybe because your international.

Thanks, let's hope I made it right. here's the first para of that email:

"I just wanted to add my electronic congratulations to the acceptance
letter you should have already received. As someone who will likely
read more than 8,000 applications this year, I can tell you how
difficult (and interesting) this process is, and how proud you should
be of your accomplishment."

Seems they do sent me a letter and I've not received yet.

Yes, that's the way it seems! I got this same e-mail today, but I got the letter in the mail last Saturday. There is probably just a delay. Again, congratulations!

I see, it might have to do with any mail delay that comes with the after effects of the hurricane. Either way congrats, man.

Did you have an interview as well?
Mine updated again, after an interview, for what I believe was the fourth time. Not ED.
I am not ED either. How does the interview thing work? Do they invite you soon after they receive your application? And do they invite you over the phone/email/snail mail? All I know is that not everyone gets an interview. I never got an invite, so now I am not sure if they made a decision, or if they are maybe mailing me an interview invite.

My dates were 9/27, 10/12, 10/23, 10/31.
Venus don't worry about it...to my knowledge they only give interviews to those that they are unsure about it (generally splitters). I wouldn't be worried at all if you didn't receive an invite.

Bobr, I think we are in same situation. Here is hoping for a positive letter in the mail...

Thank you man! Did you log in your status checker? Mine is still just "complete". Anyway, congratulations to you too!
BTW, what are the interview thing they are talking about? Why I know nothing about it at all....

Congrats! I live in New York, and the post office said they are still sorting things out after the storm, but hopefully I'll get mine by the end of the week!

Congrats! I'd like to know because I am currently out of town for a little while, did your status checker changed as well? Or did you also get an email or something like that?
My status checker still just says complete and I didn't get an e-mail either. Looks like it's snail mail or bust.
Thanks for the info!

I haven't been counting status checker date changes, but I think today was my third update. I guess something will be happening soon.
