No email yet so I'm hoping to get a letter later this week!! Any chance they'll send a delayed email?

I got a hold email two full days after my 3rd update. They were trollin' hard. No one is safe.

Thanks for the info . I was asking b/c my housemate told me I had a letter waiting for me at home and I didn't think I had time to go check the mail. I rushed home -- beyond excited right now!

Not ED. And I applied to both full and part time programmes.

From what we're seeing, do people see GULC's hold as more of a YP, wait and see how the cycle plays out or some frankenstein mixture of the two?

I could be far off, but I wouldn't fret too much about a hold because I think there is still a pretty bright shine of hope in it.

Regardless, I hope you ED candidates find your way off of hold and waitlist, considering you were willing to take that leap of faith!

I say this because many would consider my #'s auto-reject and I got put on hold. I'm a URM and I have a really good story, so I get the vibe that they are seriously considering my app, otherwise, with my #'s, they could have easily rejected me without thinking twice about it.

That's my guess.

That is definitely a valid point, I guess being on the lower end of the T-14 it is hard to find URM's with 16X+ scores, but even so, I'm surprised and happy to still be in the game.

That is very true. I checked your LSN and you may not be auto-admit #'s, but still really solid credentials. Better than my #'s

Thanks a lot man. If it makes you feel better, I'm applying to be a Navy JAG right now and there is a slim chance they're going to let me do it, which implicitly would mean I'd be reconsidering all my options, so a slot I might have otherwise taken could very well open up. I doubt I'm the only one on the fence about vacating their seat, but it's gotta give some hope to those on the hold and WL list.

Longtime reader - first time poster. Any consensus on the method Gtown uses for notification? I know that acceptances are via snail mail.. but what about holds/Wl and dings? Thanks!

I thought the consensus was both hold/wl and dings are via email, only acceptance is via snail mail? Remembered there was a discussion a few pages ago. Anyone who got dinged through snail mail?

In via mail today! Along with a nice handwritten note saying he liked my personal statement and happy birthday wishes. Feels good to have the first acceptance! (3.62/171/174)

There are at least two lower on lsn-both with higher lsat scores, so others take heart.
