Filled mine out and it said I should qualify for need-based aid. Now I have to fill out NeedAccess.ohpobrecito wrote:Financial aid questionnaire is up, for those waiting.
Could you PM or post whats your UG debt and how much money do you have in your accounts? I'm puzzled why I didn't qualify.nsideirish wrote:Filled mine out and it said I should qualify for need-based aid. Anyone know what kind of need-based aid they give? What is the max amount? I am pretty poor.
I also put down numbers that would warrant significant need aid, but it said I was denied. I've received need aid at one other T14 so far.qwertyboard wrote:Could you PM or post whats your UG debt and how much money do you have in your accounts? Are negative numbers required to be a candidate for financial assistance? I have no income, almost no money in my accounts and no undergraduate debt. It said I was not eligible. I'm wondering if the median price of condos and houses of my zip code had something to do with this. Apparently, when I looked into the demographics info, my zip code median house price is $2,000,000. This is wrong. Houses around here are worth between 150 to 250k.
yeah, that's it -- hm, not sure what's going on there.megagnarley wrote:Where are we finding this form?
I am going mail and money>financial aid application and just getting: The Law School's need-based evaluation tool will be available in late February, once we begin processing financial aid applications for admitted students. Please check back in February.
Mysterious. Perhaps they're updating in waves.westphiladelphia wrote:yeah, that's it -- hm, not sure what's going on there.megagnarley wrote:Where are we finding this form?

I kept seeing that until an hour ago. It'll come up eventually.megagnarley wrote:Where are we finding this form?

Popped over to safari and it was the same. If it doesn't show up later today I suppose I'll eat the cookies.teiswei wrote:Did you try to clear cookies or use another browser?smdpnp wrote:I kept seeing that until an hour ago. It'll come up eventually.megagnarley wrote:Where are we finding this form?

Nada. No money from Michigan.JamesDean1955 wrote:I also put down numbers that would warrant significant need aid, but it said I was denied. Did you receive a decent scholarship from Michigan? If so, that would be why. I received a scholarship and they told me due to my receiving merit aid I would be ineligible for need aid.
Same, they told me the scholarship would disqualify me from need-based aid.JamesDean1955 wrote:I also put down numbers that would warrant significant need aid, but it said I was denied. Same here. I really don't want to take out Grad Plus loans. I wish some rich family member would lend me the money.nanochick wrote:Yeah, nothing for me in terms of financial aid. I suppose I may as well hang around and try to negotiate a scholarship in April before I withdraw. No way I can afford UMich at sticker, no matter what they think. Is this it then? Is it scholarship or grant from that form and that's that, or is there another round of scholarships later?
Guess this saves me the cost of attending the ASW.
