I submitted on Jan. 2nd, and was wondering why Mich sent an email confirming reception of my app but saying that they will send me status check info in a week or two...

Well I think that's unrelated to what everybody else is talking about. They're talking about how every person with a complete app's status checker usually updates every day except Sunday, but hasn't since Wednesday. The email you got is just saying your app is received, it's not complete, and you won't get a status checker for a few weeks, just like everybody else.swordking90 wrote:Could someone please let us know when the online status check system is up again? Checking in. App submitted today after getting Dec LSAT score. 171/4.0. how long does it take to get a received email and then a complete email?

If anyone here has used mylsn.info (LinkRemoved) and it has proven to tremendously aid you in the law school admissions process, please consider voting for LSATSCORES2012 in this poll. LOLyeah. Michigan is definitely consistent with it's "I'm the hip law school, yo" thing. Also, were you admitted for summer or fall start? (Check the admitted students site -> mail and money -> admissions communication.)
