And the only two other schools that I'm looking at that offer interviews to all applicants are Vanderbilt and NU. Both seem to be more about making sure there's a good "fit" (with NU's strict work experience requirement and Vandy's minuscule class size) and less about YP.

I'd agree with that schools that interview everyone don't seem to be YPing.

And the graph was just a response to the statement that Michigan was the worst YP offender, second only, maybe, to UVA. American seems to be the worst, by far... to the point of absurdity.

All it's really saying is that schools who interview consider applicants who forego an interview to be an autoding.

At least to me, it came across more as saying that schools that interview do so because they are inferior to other schools, and the interview process is basically a way of enhancing yield protection for schools that don't have elite status.

Possibly. I thought it was the "but we can see why other schools do it" to counter the above "interviewing applicants is stupid" paragraph above it.

Checking in. Not a n00b, but a n00b name. Didn't want my legacy from LSAT board migrating. Applying ED shortly, very pessimistic about my chances (3.27, 169, in-state (not that it matters)). But we'll see. Both my parents went to UM and I didn't get in for undergrad out of HS either, so figured I'd give it a shot. That whole GPA thing, ugh.

If you mean the "last updated" field, yes, it changes almost every day to indicate that the status checker is up to date.
