I missed that when I applied and sent 3 addenda (why uva, lsat, and gpa) - stupid that it let me attach 3 when they only want 1...hopefully that won't hurt me because its all converted to PDF at the end!
Where is the requirement that they only want one?
If so, how should the page note go?
I don't know if its listed on the addenda portion on LSAC, but it is stated in the instructions on UVA's website:
UVA School of Law wrote:Optional Addenda

Should you wish to address other topics (or other aspects of yourself on your application), the "optional addenda" section can be used to attach ONE document addressing as many topics as you wish to address. We strongly encourage you to separate topics within the document with page breaks and headings/descriptions.

If we submitted apps on 9/1, UVA should be receiving and reviewing them starting tomorrow right?

I'm about to submit. I think I've gone over my personal statement and the application to make sure there are no typos about 10 times now.

This is actually my face:

Does anyone know what percentage of the class do they tend to take from ED?

I am retaking the LSAT in October with the plan on EDing if I score in the 170s, but am worried that they will have already locked up enough of their class in ED...Justified? Will an application they get in the end of October be tougher to make it through ED?

My CAS Report was received by the school, no status checker email yet.

On another note, I recommend everyone who applied ED to listen exclusively to Dave Matthews Band until decision day to add some good vibes.

You should be fine if you ED after the October test. There's no set percentage for ED admits, only in-state v. out-of-state (40%-60% respectively).

And I don't think in-state v. out-of-state are set in stone. That's just what they do to keep having in-state v. out-of-state rules placed on them.

And yeah October is plenty early. Just have your application completely ready to go before you get your score back.

If you go to the Report Status page under applications, in the top-right corner it will say the number of reports requested and the number sent. If you scroll down, you'll see that the date "sent" is now different from the date you submitted (before it was the same). This means the school has downloaded reports from LSAC but has not yet looked at them (when they've looked at who actually applied, they'll send out an email with detail on how to check your application status).

Also under LORs there will be a little envelope icon near the UVA LORs saying they were sent to the school.

I wish I had the luxury of RDing, but sadly my numbers are only ED worthy.

Checking in. Been on this browsing for a while and I'm so excited. I really thought I might be pushing it apply so early, but it's good to know there are others out there. Gonna submit my app ED next Monday. Just got my go-to gal looking over my PS and DS for anything the other 11 sets of eyes may have missed (no joking, 11 people). Can't believe my app cycle's finally beginning. Surprisingly, with my numbers so comparatively low, I'm not at all nervous or anxious. I'm just excited to see if anyone's gonna take a chance on me. Gonna apply to a good 25 schools (ALL LSAT fee waiver compatible). Good luck to everyone! And hopefully some of us will meet in Charlottesville!

Oh, and if anyone needs a set of eyes to look over statements I'm more than happy to do it! :D

Negative. Anyone from past cycles who may be lurking want to chime in on how long this should be taking? I thought it would be a pretty "instant" thing once the apps were downloaded from LSAC.

apparently they've already starting reviewing apps, just got an email asking for confirmation that I had sent my in-state tuition application in. Still no status-checker though

Well that's cool! Maybe the status checker system isn't up yet for the 2012-2013 cycle.
[Edit] and IIRC, you were ahead of me by a few minutes on sending it in. If they're going in order...maybe I'm next? No in-state for me though

Last LOR should be received tomorrow. After that, I'll be one of you ED'ers.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
