What?!! Why do they have no money left for me?!!twinkletoes16 wrote:NoodleyOne wrote:Out of money is a flame. Edit: hope that didn't come off as dickish. I mean the collective y ou and the fact that law schools are full of shit.
It would be a lot funnier though if you meant YOU SPECIFICALLY.
But yes I agree.
It's not like I made inappropriate comments about the hotness of one of their admissions staff (get back at me, Chicago ) or blew off all of their email correspondences (look, GeorgeTTTown, it's not you, it's me... ).

Any chances of getting money if pulled off the waitlist? Looking at http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... 5&t=204728 it appears there's a "second round" of scholarships still going out around this time.

Anybody get any calls today? I just got a call from a 434 number. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. I'm on the WL.

I've been called multiple times by Liberty Law (which also has a 434 number). If it's UVA wanting to admit you, they will send an email beforehand to ask you to call them.francesfarmer wrote:Anybody get any calls today? I just got a call from a 434 number. google the 434 number - odds are most of uva's phone numbers have the same first 6 digits (including area code).

Thanks. I could have sworn I checked a box somewhere that said "never call me."swordking90 wrote:I've been called multiple times by Liberty Law (which also has a 434 number). Oh yeah, I forgot to talk about that on the previous page. Before I got admitted, Dean Richard sent me the email asking me to call. The conversation was very brief and very YP-y. I had a couple bullet points (from my original app) on why I liked UVA ready to go, since I anticipated that being the tone. Pretty sure I still sounded like I was the winner of a call-in radio contest when she finally told me I was getting a full ride, though.swordking90 wrote:If it's UVA wanting to admit you, they will send an email beforehand to ask you to call them.

In the email it said that they will accept waitlisters by early May. Do we think that they will wait until early May, or is that just at the latest? As a Michigan summer starter, that would be balls.

Unfortunately I'm only able to give them 2-3 weeks tops, so hopefully they step up.

The Liberty Law folks got me too. My heart skipped a beat when I saw the VA area code.

You could always deregister from CRS on LSAC...digifly wrote:+3JXander wrote:+2...drive4showLSAT4dough wrote:+1.ObviousAlias wrote:The Liberty Law folks got me too. My heart skipped a beat when I saw the VA area code.

I haven't gotten any TTT spam since late September. Took 2-3 weeks go into effect after I unregistered (I also had to unsubscribe from the ones that placed me on lists before I unregistered...this took about another month or so to get rid of emails).ninetails wrote:I did this and still get spammed...shadowofjazz wrote:You could always deregister from CRS on LSAC...

Yeah, to be fair, I'm sure that all the spam I get now is a result of them putting me on a list before I canceled CRS (and also I did so many months after you) but...there are some schools that I have unsubscribed from specifically atleast 3 times that still spam me. Not going to name any names Case Western, Barry, Penn State, But please stop because every time my phone buzzes I have a heart attack which actually kinda hurts your cause.shadowofjazz wrote:I haven't gotten any TTT spam since late September. Some schools had separate lists when I went to unsubscribe. I emailed their admissions office asking to be removed if I saw it was separate lists and not removing from all lists.ninetails wrote:Yeah, to be fair, I'm sure that all the spam I get now is a result of them putting me on a list before I canceled CRS (and also I did so many months after you) but...there are some schools that I have unsubscribed from specifically atleast 3 times that still spam me. I'm not even registered for CRS and I still get spam from schools like New York UniversiTTTy telling me I've been placed on their waitlist.shadowofjazz wrote:I haven't gotten any TTT spam since late September.
