I didn't write a Why UVA, so I've been expecting a WL any day now, but nope.

But t12 schools are letting in almost zero splitters who didn't ED though... I feel like the end of this cycle is going to be insane.megagnarley wrote:Looks likes schools are grasping for 170s.Wormfather wrote:Makes no sense, you're right in their wheelhouse. But then you'd think they'd need high GPA's to balance.
Shrugs.
It has to right? Because otherwise this cycle has not correlated with the decrease in 170's like most predicted.WokeUpInACar wrote:But t12 schools are letting in almost zero splitters who didn't ED though... Hmm. As splitter (170/3.6x) who has only heard back from one t-12 in the form of an acceptance, that goes against my experience.WokeUpInACar wrote:But t12 schools are letting in almost zero splitters who didn't ED though... Don't think you guys are wrong BUT I don't UVA gets enough credit for being holistic. Maybe not with the dings but definitely with the WL. http://uva.lawschoolnumbers.com/stats/1112/ That graph is every bit as holistic as Stanford.Br3v wrote:It has to right? wut. Almost everything on the graph is predictable - extreme splitters/reverse splitters are ED, everyone with a 17X, 3.7+ gets in, with YP beginning at LSAT 75th. Not holistic, just a different strategy than other T14s.wert3813 wrote: Don't think you guys are wrong BUT I don't UVA gets enough credit for being holistic. What? How do you explain the LINES of yellow at 169 and 170? From the GPA 25th through to the 75th? Those should be the wheelhouse. Not being snide, explain it to me.jym_dawg wrote:wut. 3.6x isn't a HUGE split though.megagnarley wrote:

Although my sample size for this statement is essentially negligible.
I'm actually struggling to keep up with/understand how this cycle is going so far as a whole.
