Doesn't everyone's say that?
That would be my question
no change here, based on the decision date graphs for last year we should hear back on the 12-13th if we ED'd
I would assume that everyone's says that once its complete and that some (RDers) will sit on that for a month or two.
I really hope we hear back soon for ED! I've been getting lots of good news lately and my birthday might just be coming up soon and this would be a great early birthday present.

Mine has said that for almost a week. But I'm RD and, therefore, expecting zero movement on it for months.

Nah. I not entirely sure where I wanna go, and I'd like to compare offers before deciding anyway.

Does anyone know what times they usually call between? Have they historically only called during business hours (9-5 EST)? Or do they call in the evenings?

Don't torture yourself! Just try to put it out of your mind and let the call come when it comes.
And I have no idea when the calls come, though business hours seem like a reasonably safe guess.

Well, really it was a realization that I might be getting a call at 6 am since I'm 3 hours behind that prompted that question...I'm hoping that they would think about that and start making calls a little later in the day. Just wondering if anyone knows.

From what I can see from last year's threads, calls have come as early as 10 am EST and as late as "the evening" (unspecified time zone). The call will come when it comes. I doubt they're going to make any decisions on 9/11 (accepts/rejects/or otherwise). I think tomorrow will be the first possible day (given last year's cycle and the decision date graphs) though end of the week is more likely.

412 is PA. 434 is what you are waiting for.

I know, but just seeing 4 followed by a bunch of numbers got me all hot and bothered.

Does UVA do the phone call thing just for ED applicants, or should RD-ers expect that too down the road?

Too bad you don't have a maid to answer the door.

Sorry. The next post from me here will be about either where I should live in Charlottesville or strategies for pulling together the money for more app fees.

Fire your maid. That should cover a few rounds of fees.

Negative. I'm convinced that they're waiting to call me on my birthday or send me the rejection/waitlist after my birthday (if that happens...).

Ugh, I can't hold my breath anymore.
In the c/o 2015 thread, people were getting acceptances by the 8th or 9th. Do you think the 1st falling on a Saturday instead of a Thursday this year pushed them back a few days?

I'm just trying to not think. I'll start freaking out when someone hears back.
