Hi all,

Below both medians, non URM, non resident, threw a hail mary ED app towards UVA. Thought maybe they needed to increase their YP and wanted to accept me :D .

It's been almost two weeks, I know I'm getting the ding, but I guess no news is good news at this point

UVA is the most beautiful campus I've ever been to, those who have been admitted, y'all are extremely lucky to be going.

go cavs

No, I don't think they set a floor but de facto I don't think anyone has reported less than 15k.

1) Where do most students do their grocery shopping? (Is there a Costco or a Sam's Club nearby?)

It depends on where you live. If you live on Arlington, then you'll be close to the Barracks Road Harris Teeter. In general, Cville has a ton of grocery stores... Kroger, Food Lion, Trader Joes, Whole Foods.

No idea about furniture.

1) People have to eat. Yes, there are grocery stores. There's also a Googlable Sam's Club.

2) The nearest IKEA is about two hours away, but it's not like Google could tell you that.

::type type type::

Yes.

But in all seriousness and non-dickishness, Legen, you could probably get really good answers to questions about daily life in the c/o 2016 thread or the Ask a UVA Student threads that are floating around.

Just withdrew from UVA and I'm looking for someone to take over my lease at the Pavillion. It's a one bedroom with den (read 2 bathrooms and essentially 2 bedrooms) at a specially discounted rate. It even includes furniture. Please message me for details and spread the word if you know of anyone who is looking for an awesome place to live in c'ville.
