And I hope Banjo and I get bonus points for having video game character TLS usernames.
We definitely should. Also, 40+ hour japanese RPGs are really the best way to wait for law school decisions.

eta: haha I guess people figured out my LSN profile. Originally I did it for anonymity, but I gave up on that pretty quickly

I kind of want to play some good games before getting sucked into law school. Want to play Banjo Kazooie again or Mario 64. Something old school. Sunshine?

You're all wrong. It's Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

And Tetris on Gameboy Colour.

Majora's Mask, espec. if it's been a while since you've last played it! And definitely think about Donkey Kong 64. It's one of my all-time favorites.

TCR. I just finished Persona 4: Golden which is like an 80 hour game.

Also the SNES is still the greatest console of all-time.

I cant respect any person who values nostalgia so much that they cant admit that modern videogames are the shit. Yeah, the old stuff is good, but to say that, for instance Assassin's Creed doesnt belong on that list is willful blindness at the very least.

Edit: And in case any adcoms are watching, yes I know that -A does not necessarily mean -B.
There hasn't even been a good Assassin's Creed since ACII.

Hah, you don't have to tell me that. :) Immediately after being passed over in the first JS2 round, I started replaying FFX and named the main character Lavitz. Then I realized that was a terrible strategy to cheer myself up when you consider how the game ends

Anyway, I've never played so much blitzball in my life

And yeah, I knew that was your profile back in like August lol.

Man, I recently played through the entire AC series while waiting for decisions. I thought they got better with each one, except Connor as a character is a bit too "whiny" for my taste. Then again, I like Altaïr better than Ezio.

Right now I'm playing Deus Ex: Human Revolution, and then i'm gonna move to Final Fantasy XIII

I just beat Dark Souls: PTDE (already beat it back at release on PS3 tho). I sorta transitioned last summer fully to PC gaming and am prob never gonna buy another console.

I couldn't get through ACI; I just found it too repetitive. ACII was great, and Brotherhood was decent. Revelations was pretty bad, and ACIII was fun gameplay-wise (minus the glitches) but the story was horrible (both Desmond and Connor's).

FFX is one of my least favorite FFs. VI > VII > XII > IV> don't care about any of the other ones.

I say Majora's Mask. That game is really dark and amazing but completely overshadowed by OoT. Sunshine is also really, really solid.

eta: totally scooped.

btw, we're a forum full of future lawyers. One of us should promise to help get the original goldeneye re-released on a newer console. Pretty sure that counts as public interest. I remember reading that copyright issues prevented it from being displayed at the Smithsonian, which is a great injustice.

NICE. This was me after getting rejected from H (spoiler): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hy2zPRDecQY. But a few days later I was like: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H47ow4_Cmk0.

That game could definitely use some modernization. RPGs are really easy to view through rose-tinted goggles, but dated FPSes are really bad... I remember trying to play Goldeneye again at some point during UG and I couldn't stand it. E.g. what do you mean I can't aim and walk at the same time???

I am killing time with games as well. I beat FXIII-2 the other day. I *love* FFX. It is by far my favorite in the series. The ending almost makes me want to cry. I am going to start a new character in skyrim while awaiting decisions. I am also looking forward to the DLCs for the game (about damn time). Looking forward to 50% off on the dlc, but knowing Bethesda, I hope the dlc actually works :? .

COD, Mass Effect and StarCraft would make my list.

Wii virtual console! Otherwise, yeah, maybe get that collector's edition disk for gamecube, or the N64 cartridge (which is cool to have anyway).

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
