As a Berkeley casualty today, I agree.
+1 I respect Berkeley's swift rip of the bandaid

This (and all of the schools/cycles I have bookmarked) are completely silent. I don't like it.

Sadly, I doubt any school is gonna ding on valentine's day. Tomorrow, hopefully!

I'm withdrawing from Brooklyn Law if only because they sent me a white envelope yesterday when I was on high alert.

Doing the same with Fordham. They've sent me two. That shit's not funny right now.

Call in. There was a guy a few pages back who hadn't received an NCE yet, but found out he was accepted after inquiring about a financial aid email.

No promises, but...

GOOD LUCK DUDE

Oh god. Someone earlier reported getting an admitted students email prior to getting their package and it turned out they had been admitted and just hadn't received the NCE yet. Is the email admitted student-specific or more general?

It's general. "Dear Student..." It's also from The Office of Student Financial Planning, rather than the Law School itself.
No idea, but it doesn't sound like anyone else got it so there must be some reason you received it. I would definitely call and clarify that you haven't yet received the NCE. Good luck!!

I didn't even apply there and they did this to me. You cannot escape.

I just got my NYC guidebook from CLS in the mail. The only Valentine's Day present I'll be getting today, although I did manage to eat half of my coworker's edible arrangement.

Wondering this as well. Would love to come to CLS, but not sure I would be willing to pay sticker.

They want tax returns by March 1. If it is impossible to submit your 2012 returns by then, you can submit those for 2011 and submit your 2012 returns by the end of April.

ETA: parents' and yours

And re my own question, it seems likely we will be notified of our financial aid package between the end of March and the beginning of April. Inferred this from financial aid materials being due by March 1 and 2012 tax returns being due by April 30 to "confirm" awards (their words).

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
