holy shit! so I found out on wednesday and I was only now able to come here. but they def are giving out the cafaro awards this year!

How did you find out?! And will they be going to the same 180/4.0 crowd as the Ruby or is any other factor thrown in?

I also got the Cafaro. I believe they also take need into consideration.

Cafaro here, as well. Allegedly they are giving four this year...75% of us in this thread?

Thanks. No, I didn't try to negotiate.

I ended up deciding not to take it, so I hope one of you gets a happy phone call today! Chicago is seriously a GREAT school and had I been offered the scholarship earlier in my cycle, I probably would've been more inclined to take it. It was just too quick of a turnaround for me in terms of making a decision, as I had already pretty much decided on another school that is also offering a significant aid package.

Totally taking it. It's by far my best option, and to be honest, I would take it over H or S even if I hadn't been waitlisted at those schools. For a bunch of reasons, Chicago is pretty much my dream school.
