I interviewed recently also and think it went pretty well. I didn't have much time to prepare as I got the slot short-notice but there were really no big curveball questions. Seems like they are just trying to get to know you a bit better. Regulus' thread on interviews had most of the questions she asked. Good luck, don't fret it!

I botched my interview on every level, it was a while ago now.

You really should have an answer for that, its a stock question for any interview.

do you all think it's better to be completely honest, or suck up kind of?

for example, if they ask what my favorite class was...truthfully it was a film symposium class i took. but i took a lot of interesting law classes too, should i name one of them as this IS a law school interview?

i actually talked about a film project i did. i would just go with whatever you were truly most passionate about.

In that case absolutely sincere. If some question like "Why Law School" or "Why Chicago" and your best reason is that you had nothing better to do or #5, then do not be sincere.

when they refer to 'work style' do they mean like alone vs. in groups, or under pressure vs. taking time going slow, or just all of that combined? seems very abstract to me

I'd imagine they just want to know how you work in general. What is the strategy that your normally employ? If it's not the same under all conditions, maybe mention how you adjust it based on the conditions and specify why.

Don't be afraid to ask, too, if you're unsure - it's better than just wandering in blind. When she asked me about my greatest accomplishment, I asked whether she meant personally or professionally. She said either, and so I responded accordingly.

If I had received the question, I was going to describe how I work in the same way that I respond to programming errors. Unfortunately I never got the opportunity - I was hoping for that question!

So I think there are at least 2 decent reasons for believing that the next batch of decisions will come out tomorrow.

1. Tomorrow counts as Mid-February.
2. The last batch of decisions came out on a Wednesday. (Which is why I sense tomorrow is more likely than Thursday).

so i had my interview yesterday, and i think it went well. i feel like it couldve been better though, i left out some of the information that i had prepared. all the questions i got were already mentioned in this thread. my interviewer could not have been nicer! such a sweetheart.

hopefully i can be included in the next round of acceptance wave haha

ah nice, got mine in 5 hours. probably will go over my answers once more out loud an hour or 2 beforehand but other than that no real point in fretting now. just gonna occupy my mind elsewhere, i think i am hyping it up too much in my head

I had that second update too. I think I've seen others in this thread who said they have, as well.

Two questions.

Firstly, are certain applicants interviewed more than once?

Secondly, has anyone here, who thought his or her interview went pretty well, been disappointed by subsequent results?
