Wow so Chicago is interviewing RD applicants as well. I wonder if this is becoming a prereq like the JS1. Thanks for the info!

I think the only thing we know is that an interview invite means you're competitive. Based on the spreadsheet there aren't any auto ding candidates getting interviews. At the same time most of the interviewees seem borderline and I have trouble expecting they will all get admitted. It'll be critical to show your interest in the school. I think that's the key purpose of these interviews given Chicago's historically bad yield rate.

Yup
I loved loved loved uchicago when I visited, and I've never been to the Boston area before so I'm holding off on any big decisions until I can get out there in March.

Went complete at the end of September and offered an interview today. Very excited. Nice hearing positive news after the break.
Congrats to everyone else as well.

Yup.
Here is some info about the new interview program.

I think the interview is definitely a positive sign after the results we've seen thus far.
I hope you're not letting rad lulz get under your skin.
And I agree that the interview is a relatively positive sign, so congrats to everyone invited and good luck to those waiting for an invite.

Hoping the point was worth the wait
Puts you at median for Chi. I think it'll make a difference since they will be trying to hold that.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
