When did you submit? How fast was the turnaround? What are your numbers?

Accepted yesterday around 3pm MDT. LSAT is at median, GPA is above 75th. Hooray for first acceptance!

I submitted on the 4th (no PT) and just went under review on the 28th. I'm 179/3.45.

How long does it take after you go under review? I am under review as well.

I'll be fire-bombing this thread as soon as I find out. Stay tuned.
(The decision date graph in the OP indicates that late October, early November is the earliest we can reasonably hope for. The most recent graph doesn't break out PT applicants, so there's nothing to be gleaned from it as far as we non-PT, RD folks are concerned.)

I'm basing this on a sample size of one person so take this with a grain of salt:
From last year's applicants thread, it looks like the first non-PT person to report an acceptance submitted on 9/30, was complete 10/3, went UR 10/31 and was accepted on 11/15. So assuming they announce RD decisions on a rolling basis and that this timeframe is somewhat representative, an optimistic prediction would be ~2 weeks. (Some other non-PT people went UR on 10/24--one week earlier--but they didn't post when they got accepted and I couldn't find them on LSN.)
So considering that 1) apps opened 15 days earlier this year, 2) we went UR an entire month earlier than he did last year, and 3) the time for UR --> decision in that example was only 2 weeks, it stands to reason that at least some of us RD people should be hearing back before the end of October.
(Edited to remove LSN example which may have been a delayed PT instead of an RD.)

Just submitted my PT application.
EXCITED.
This is my first submitted app and I found it really hard to press the submit button. Always worried that I am missing something. After checking out the preview application 20x, I finally gained the courage

sorry if this has been discussed in great detail (just did a cursory search)
But can one request PT?
If so, is it too late considering they already sent out all of the unrequested ones?
Would doing so be looked at as a nagative from the adcoms anyways?

PT is invitation-only. They've sent out two batches so far; I'm not sure if there are more

Got it, and to state the obvious, the invitation is just an email correct? Or burried somehwere on LSAC?

For what it's worth, I requested one and they seemed perfectly happy to give it to me, though I'm reapplying this cycle and applied PT with an invitation last year.

I can't see why they would allow PT requests. Since it is non-binding, everyone would just request PT and it would create a big strain on their adcoms

They wouldn't have to grant it to everyone - it could be like soliciting fee waivers.

Checking in. I submitted my application 9 days ago but haven't received a response yet (I'm PT). Does anyone know if the 10 days deal means business days, included? Or is it 10 days, period? If it is 10 days period I should hear tomorrow, I guess.
I'm kind of paranoid that the length it is taking means I was rejected. My status hasn't been updated since it went UR 3 days after I submitted.

It's 10 calendar days, but it's from the day you went complete, not the day you submitted.

Ah, my bad. I went complete on the 24th. So I should receive something by the end of today, no?

I don't think the day you went complete counts as day 1. On the 24th, it had been 0 days since you went complete. The 25th was 1 day since you went complete, etc.
Tomorrow will be 10 days since you went complete, so either today or tomorrow.

Is the fact that it has taken so long a bad sign? My last status update is from the 26th of Sept. I'm getting a bit nervous.

Breath man. You'll get your answer soon enough, and if you're PT than you're probably in good shape. It's not like you can change anything now.
They received my app two weeks ago but dean's letter issues have held up my decision. It's obnoxious but I'm just using it as practice for the waiting game with the schools I care a lot more about -- since many of them won't get back to us until January.

I wouldn't worry about it. I got accepted on the tenth day and so have a lot of other people in this thread.

This. They say 10 days because it can take 10 days lol. Plenty of people have been accepted late in the last day.
