Same here. Submitted 1/30, complete 2/5, UR today. I haven't been posting here because I know I'm a long shot, but Duke's been my favorite basketball team since I was 4ish. I never thought I'd ever get the chance to even apply here.nba101790 wrote:UR 1 this morning...

Same. At this point, I'm feeling like no news is bad news.WhatOurBodiesAreFor wrote:+1. Feeling a little burnt out toosnapdragon25 wrote:Who the F knows. I'm sick of predicting these things.WhatOurBodiesAreFor wrote:So, fellow 2/26 UR2ers, how about those DECISIONS?

Re: Duke c/o 2016 Applicants Thread (2012-2013 Cycle)
I really only think the long wait means that we missed the initial wave of admits. The people who went UR2 last week applied earlier in the cycle as us UR2 2/26ers. I think our UR2 2/26 simply means we're getting the same second look as the people who went UR2 last week. I suspect that they'll continue going through the "non-admit pile" in the order that they were received. I mean, it's not good we missed the initial wave, but I don't think the longer UR2 2/26ers wait for their decision the worse it will be. I think their admit-WL-deny standards will be the same no matter how long we wait.stone_fox wrote:Same. At this point, I'm feeling like no news is bad news.
Maybe they will make the initial decisions on the late UR1ers first though?
I'm purely speculating if you haven't noticed...

Scholarship info mailed Monday has gone MIA. I know CA is far but 5 days...
Perhaps they changed their mind.

Wonder if that LSAC outage also delayed decisions that had already been made.MacB wrote:Apparently Boston is a black hole too.megagnarley wrote:Scholarship info mailed Monday has gone MIA. I know CA is far but 5 days...

Since you didn't post your numbers and your profile doesn't have them I'm going to assume that you don't actually have any numbers and therefore a Why Duke won't be enough to overcome your lack of numbers.toothbrush wrote:is it necessary to write a why duke to get in with meh numbers ?

Considering you now have numbers I think you have a decent shot although it is getting pretty late in the cycle. Might have to come off the waitlist.toothbrush wrote:uh 168/3.75 hispanic non urmBigZuck wrote:Since you didn't post your numbers and your profile doesn't have them I'm going to assume that you don't actually have any numbers and therefore a Why Duke won't be enough to overcome your lack of numbers.toothbrush wrote:is it necessary to write a why duke to get in with meh numbers ?

If you were in my spot, would you why x NOW or why x during the inevitable WL?BigZuck wrote:Considering you now have numbers I think you have a decent shot although it is getting pretty late in the cycle.
