how afraid should we be if we are not UR?

It's been noted that the past years' cycles did not have this period of UR on their boards. They went straight from WL to DLS. So this is pretty new ground for everybody, if all that is correct.

It'll be nice to see a few acceptances go out, we'll have to wait for the UR people to come back and update.

I am still UR 5/6. No movement/phone call/ding letter announced

Edit: Just went UR AGAIN! I'm pretty sure this means WL -> ding. Why else would they reevaluate me again so early in the summer? At this point, I think it's a good sign to be on the waitlist without movement because it means they're holding onto you, and your chances get better as the summer progresses and people drop.

I'm under review again today too. I did send in a LOCI recently, don't know if that's why I'm ur again. But I don't think they WL-->Ding so early. Im expecting to go back to WL soon

Schools don't usually ding off the WL so early, if at all.

I just got the most vague ups tracking email ever from Law School/ admissions.
Which one? any other URs get the same thing just now?

Me too!....?!? I was wondering if it was spam or if anyone else received such a thing, now I'm excited/fearful since someone else on this thread received it....EEEKK!!!!

I just got that weird UPS tracking info thing too. WL on a few schools, so not sure where its coming from, but makes me excited!!

Well we are all posting about this on the NYU forum and I can't find any such discussion anywhere else on the forum....WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN!?! Aren't we supposed to get a phone call first before they offer acceptance?

I don't have cell reception so I wouldn't know for a few hours anyway. But I'm super excited that you all got this too

For all those that received this strange UPS tracker email, do you mind posting stats and whether or not you sent in an LOCI and whether your status checker says Under Review again?

I received the email, sent in LOCI which was received on May 1st, Status Checker read 'Applicant Under Review' May 6th, currently reads May 8th, Stats 169/3.76

I doubt they are overnighting you a large "ding" or "keep waiting" package lol but I suppose anythings possible

We don't know it's from NYU yet. Mine could be another WL, a travel stipend or something from the school i deposited at.
