From what we can tell, the applications move to "final stages" pretty quickly, then they hang out there for a while. If you didn't apply for a named scholarship, you could hear this week or next.

Before in this thread someone said NYU must admit somewhere near 1.2k applicants in order to fill their pool. For the sake of argument, lets say they need that amount.

Look at this for 2012-13 admits so far http://myLSN.info/fmz1np

Does this mean there are either ~800 non-tls admits thus far, or that they are still sending out ~800 (this is very unlikely, but to a degree) acceptances ?

Be careful - the 2012-2013 (testing) option is just the same data as the 2012-2013 option, but after the LSN update (as of two days ago, I think). This is what you want to look at: http://myLSN.info/ia2u5s

So, right now, in that range, it shows 329 admits last year and 230 admits this year so far. That's approximately 70% of last years total, and I'd bet that a lot of people haven't put up their results yet, so as a rough guess, probably about 1000 offers total have gone out (with 700-800 not having been posted on LSN).

ETA: my comment on the 2012-2013 (testing) is no longer relevant, because it's no longer an option... I just copied the most recent data over to 2012-2013 since it seems to be working fine

To add on to what LSATSCORES2012 said, based on Regulus's awesome spreadsheet, you can see that LSN admits are generally around 20% of total acceptances. Additionally, NYU typically accepts closer to 1,600-1,750 applicants.

To add on to what LSATSCORES2012 said, based on Regulus's awesome spreadsheet, you can see that LSN admits are generally around 20% of total acceptances. Additionally, NYU typically accepts closer to 1,600-1,750 applicants.

So about 500-600 acceptances left to go --about 100 of which will be reflected on LSN, statistically speaking.

That's probably it. I also applied for a named scholarship and submitted my forms already and according to the timeline here I should have gotten my finaid info by now too (submitted a month ago).

My status went DLS on page 85 of this thread. I only actually received the letter today. Snail mail is the worst. But the post-it note is a nice touch!

I've been (against my better judgement) checking these boards religiously ever since I got my stanford ding. I haven't heard anything from CLS or NYU and I applied early sept... anyone else have about 6 months of complete silence from these two schools? I mean no word what so ever...

Heard back from Boalt, Georgetown, and Stanford but nothing at all from NYC

What is the deal!? I'm going nuts waiting

what are your stats? I think hearing nothing from CLS might be a good thing since they have been actively putting people on hold/reserves.

There are several people in the CLS thread who are pushing six months. iirc, there are also still NYU applicants who have been UR since 10/16!

And I'm sure you're not alone in checking these boards a lot. I think Dean Asha once said we have too much time on our hands. More accurately, we have too many internet-enabled devices in our hands. Who can resist?

I was at 11/21 then recently updated on 2/5 and 2/6. Starting to think it was just a glitch, though.
