Box came today with some pamphlets about the faculty, etc., a note about ASW, and a pad of C/O 2016 Post-Its.

After reading the second sentence: "Now that you've persuaded us that you would be a valued member of the NYU Law Class of 2016, it's our turn to make the case for you to come here," were you as disappointed as I was that there wasn't any scholarship offer in there? Happy to be accepted, but I'm just saying...

Then again, did you get a scholly?

You may be right, but that's better than taking 6 weeks to go complete then waiting another 6 weeks on top of that.

Especially when after those 6 weeks you just go under review again (it loses its novelty the second time around).

At NYU, under review is the equivalent of complete, according to other posters. So you shouldn't expect a separate email.

yeah it's pretty sweet. only complaint was that a few pages in the middle of the faculty handbook are upside down.

UR! Gonna submit my Why NYU by the end of the week. Very nervous since this is my dream school and a bit of a reach, but I can weather the WL into June if I have to.

Are you emailing a Why NYU to them? I thought it was the kind of thing you included in the original app --which I didn't do for the sake of time, but if it's standard to email them something, I would definitely do that too. Along with a picture of the NYU tattoo that I have.

I'll be submitting to law.moreinfo. I don't think it's a bad thing to submit it separate from the rest of the app since I was concerned with making sure they received the required materials ASAP.

Submitted today. I had a chance to walk past the school for the first time in my life last week but refused to actually walk around it or look at it too long lest I become too attached just to get dinged!
