It seems that no one who got in today is Ed applicant.

It should be a good sign i think.

Only one week more... Though i m crazy too.

good sign? I heard someone who is ED2 too got accepted just after one UR(complete 1/8, UR 1/10, accepted 1/11, but I believe his numbers must be high). So I'm prepared for the rejection.

WL, UCR2 1/22. LSAT 177, GPA 3.89, Master's Degree.

I've been in at Harvard since December, so the pressure is off a bit, but I would have considered taking a full ride at Penn over HLS; does anyone know if such scholarships are ever offered to WLed students, and if this letter is a form of YP? Assuming that I could still possibly be offered a full ride, should I send in a "Why Penn?" essay to try to secure it? Or should I just withdraw from Penn and wait to hear back from CLS and UChicago for possible scholarship offers?

You can view it in this way.

They have the capacity to take action at once but they have not rejected you, which means there is some reason to keep the hope. Btw, i know that guy, but there is always someone who is superior and get offer very fat. But for others closer to median, usually we wait and wait and likely get in finally.

You can find some samples in earlier posts. Try you best to be opptimistic. God will see it...

(I went for ur on 1/16, so was not affected by the 1/10 too much. But i know if i were super good, perhaps i have already got offet

Held today. UCR1 12/17, UCR2 1/17. I'm happy to still be in the running - I'm definitely going to submit a "Why Penn" essay and get another LOR. Congrats to all the admits.

Are these holds for RD or ED? When does it say they will review your file again? Thanks!

EDIT: Also, was this was an email?

Were these holds via email or snail mail? Maybe my application didn't get lost after all?

I am RD. The email said that they finalize all decisions by the end of April, but that most people will hear back much sooner.

If you would really consider going to Penn over HLS then send a Why Penn. I think most people would agree with me that you were more than likely WL'd for YP. If I'm not mistaken Penn is known for that.

So I guess any ED2 applicants left are going to be rejected starting on Monday. Thoughts?

I guess there will be another round of ur early next wk and then decisions will come out later...

At least I did not see anyone who got results yesterday are Ed, not even WL... And during the week before, no Eds got WL, offer or Rej. If they have determined to reject all the remaining Eds, they can give ed applicants their result much earlier, no need to wait for thr last last minute. 1/30 is little different from 1/22 if nothing will be changed.

So what i think they did last week is to review those who applied before early dec for the last time and admit some of those about whom they were not so sure at the beginning and wl some. If i m right, one of the tasks next week is for us Ed2

Alright, trying to read your posts is making me cross-eyed. But like Lexie (I think?), I also believe (and hope!) that they will make some more acceptance calls before the mass ED2 WL/ding wave at the end of the week. So don't give up, April! It ain't over till it's over!

Question here: if us ED2 got waitlisted, is it still binding or just like RD?
