WL
Last update was the big 3/13 and 3/14 wave, I believe.
Just got the email. I can work with this. Very happy to not be dinged.

for those whom this is relevant to, I just withdrew today with a Levy, and I was explicitly told in the initial offer letter that those things are re-offer-able, so if you're in the position to negotiate for bigger finaid (or know someone who is), one just opened up.

WL about an hour ago. UR2 2/13. I'm planning to decline my spot (while I liked Penn, I won't choose it over CLS or NYU). Wishing all of you good luck!

I'm not expecting a Levy but thanks for the opening a spot! Not sure on the particulars. I am pretty sure his numbers were competitive but nothing crazy. He applied later in the cycle, has been sitting on the WL for a while until today. Super stoked he got in.senorhosh wrote:Thanks. Do you have any info on his app? Numbers and such?Nickg415 wrote:A friend of mine just got the call today. Wow. So let me get this straight... He was WLed by Penn earlier and got off the WL already?Nickg415 wrote:Not sure on the particulars. I am pretty sure his numbers were competitive but nothing crazy. I'm getting so nervous right now with all the WL activity. I'm still sitting at UR 3/6 and missed the wave of UR updates this week. I want Penn so badly.

Have you gotten a merit follow-up to your initial need award? Has anyone?shntn wrote:pacifica wrote:for those whom this is relevant to, I just withdrew today with a Levy, and I was explicitly told in the initial offer letter that those things are re-offer-able, so if you're in the position to negotiate for bigger finaid (or know someone who is), one just opened up.

LOL just checked LSN. They won't be tripping over themselves to give a Levy to someone with my GPA. Oh well.

Yeah that sounds about right. I feel like there have been a couple of people of the WL so far or am I mistaken?senorhosh wrote:Wow. So let me get this straight... What do you reckon the new medians will be after this cycle is over?

Re: Penn C/O 2016 Applicants (2012-2013 Cycle)
I have always wanted LSN to provide a projected median for a schools cycle. Obviously this wont be correct, but it would be interesting to see what it looks like. But to answer your question: I doubt they will drop much in LSAT. Probably changes in their 25% and 75% GPA/LSATObviousAlias wrote:What do you reckon the new medians will be after this cycle is over?
