Congrats! ED or RD? They said scholly info would come with your acceptance letter? Is that a named scholly or regular merit? Thanks

Went ucr1 on 1/17, should I be bothered by no movement or that's normal? Also, does a visit help against being potentially YP'd?

Only one TLSer in today? Hmmm there goes my theory about Penn only releasing decisions in huge batches...

Good to know! I guess I never paid attention to the ASW dates for other schools.

I think I will just schedule my own visit--I'm not really into the whole school spirit thing.
fuck i'm an idiot i thought i was in the michigan thread. i have not been admitted and don't know if they've put up itineraries yet at UPenn! but it's true that in my experience fridays and even thursdays are part of ASWs so whatever.

^ I haven't been admitted either, so I can't verify this, but according to this thread http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... 8&t=200592 , Penn's ASW is March 22-23.

The ASW starts on Friday the 22nd. Unfortunately they don't have a list of planned events posted anywhere. I am hoping to go but I guess that all comes down to whether or not I can find flights that are more in the range of the 200$ reimbursement they offer for traveling to the ASW.

Is anyone else here debating between UVA and Penn ASWs?

No one has. What are you basing that on? Only one person ITT mentioned that Dean Post (or whoever called him/her) said something about a scholarship, but a previous poster said that during the call s/he was told about being nominated for a scholarship which is very different than receiving it. It's possible the recent poster was told the same thing and mistook what that meant.

(edit) Just saw that one random LSN profile showing money. No idea. That's not a normal named scholarship amount, and merit/need goes out together in March/April.

blah, cant find my ed1 deferral e-mail for some reason - anyway just wondering if there was any mention of when deferred eders might get decisions

edit: nvm found it, says by end of april but no mention of when they'll look at deferred candidates...

All it means is that your numbers weren't good enough for an auto-admit. Just gotta wait it out.
