No idea. It's either today, Friday, or Mon/Tues next week. No idea.

Chances are probably Mon/Tues next week though with the friday interviews.

Good luck with that. The spazzing doesn't stop until you get the call.

JS did warn that it would take a while though right? This makes me wonder if having the phone call is less of a guarantee I thought it was and they are comparing applicants? But I mean that phone call is really no way to decipher between people since they are so informal and nice. Who knows. Waiting sucks.

I've had plenty of awful 6-7 minute conversations that led to me having a sour impression of somebody. I'm sure we all have haha

Morning JS1s, Afternoon JS2s?

I have money to spend on liquor that I want to drink while I'm happy, not while I'm sad.

To withdraw from HLS so I can never be rejected and forever stay waitlisted, or not to withdraw? :D

Stay on for now. We've learned JS1s are coming randomly this year. Withdraw in August if you want to.

Ugh this is my dilemma too. I don't want to pay my second deposit. It'd be like throwing money away if I get in.

It totally sucks. I feel bad for everyone with second deposits.

Think of it as $500 for a 90% chance to get into Harvard.

RE those of you with 2nd deposits--do you think you can contact X school and say you need a few more days to get the money? I know that's dishonest, but if it could save you a few hundred bucks it could be worth a shot.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
