Just got the email, and don't see a thread for this yet, so I figured I'd get this circus off and running. Who's going to be riding this out?

Edited to include the 2012 Harvard Waitlist Form and the linked 2012 Harvard Waitlist Spreadsheet (thanks to TLS poster thelawschoolproject). Take a moment and add your name, to give us a better idea of what the waitlist looks like.

This is the kicker, though, if you ask me. Are you USMC? Yes I am a combat vet, but I don't imagine we're being placed in the same category - and I mean that in deference to you (at least in terms of the amount of value it's likely to add to your application).

ETA: By that I mean, if they have some kind of a loose "quota" that they'd like to hit in terms of number of vets they'd like to bring into the class, I doubt I'd be competing against you and other vets for that pool. My guess is I'm put in a different category altogether.

Does anyone know when Harvard's first deposit is due? I'd expect some movement to start after that...

The first movement from the waitlist typically begins on the second week in May.

Checking in ....i've got a pile of WL.

Checking in to complete the waitlist trifecta! Surely I must have a chance at getting one of HYS after being waitlisted at all three? Maybe not?

Were I a betting man, I'd put money on you getting in to at least one. My guess would be Harvard in the middle of May.
