Now to decide between Penn and NYU. Will lose $500 (seat deposit), $1700 (what I have already paid for my apartment), and a sense of security.
Any advice?
Congrats!
Mind posting your stats? Did you get a feeler call?

Got the original feeler call three weeks ago but I missed it. I returned it last week on Wednesday.

What are your goals? I think NYU is probably a little better, but under certain circumstances, Penn makes as much sense. Also, what's the price difference?

Sticker at Penn. Probably sticker at NYU. I have a nice apartment in Philly and I am dreading the apartment search in NYC. It may be enough to keep me at Penn.

I'm sure there are dorms still available.

If I don't hear any further news by the end of today, do you guys think I should write NYU an email tomorrow reiterating my interest?

It certainly won't hurt. At this stage certainly of matriculation is pretty important for adcomms.

Has anyone requirements changed after getting in? I got the feeler call, but my status still states that I am confirmed on the WL. Under the requirements list of the status checker, it states that I need to submit my tuition deposit, official undergrad transcript, and college questionnaire. Is this normal?

yeah =/ i was really worried about debt and my job prospects bc I'm K-JD (and therefore need all the help I can get) so I felt like I just couldn't turn Harvard down. I was super torn up about it, but I figure I can move to NYC in the summers and afterwards. I really loved NYU and the atmosphere there though so I'll be super jealous of everyone getting in from this thread!

Not that y'all care, but he got in today. Trying to convince him to pick NYU over Chicago or GTown starting...now.

Well Georgetown is out. I guess it comes down to $$, what he wants to do, and what his geographical preferences are.
