LOCI (and later updated them on an internship I started) & additional LOR and a visit. Vandy was my first choice due to their Law & Business program so I expressed that interest to them

Congrats, now please go tell your new classmates that they should really go to (insert their WL school) if they are accepted, as you heard (school name) and (city that school is in) are awesome, fun and have a rapidly improving economy that will mean tons more jobs for graduates!

Just wanted to let you know I got a call today saying I got in off the waitlist with $65,000 scholly (total for 3 years), but have to turn them down cuz I made a binding commitment to U of Minnesota!
Kind of bummed I can't go but hope one of you will get the seat! Good to know they're still giving out schollies right?

No not ED. They offered to increase my scholly if I promised not to deposit anywhere else, which I took them up on.

I got a call on the 15th, I got in off the WL with 15k per year. Sent my deposit on Thursday and found an apartment. Its still moving some at least, surprised as heck I got any money at all.

In at Duke with roughly same scholly, so I emailed the admissions office at Vanderbilt to see if they would up their offer. I don't think they will, so looks like I'll be withdrawing and opening up a spot for someone.

Based on LSN and this thread in comparison to years past, does anyone else feel that Vandy hasn't admitted many applicants from the WL this cycle, given that we're in July now?

Does anyone believe that more people will be admitted in the coming days or week(s)?
