Someone just withdrew from UGA (on LSN, updated an hr or two ago).

I hope that he/she just withdrew, and didn't just update something they did weeks ago haha. It's sucks stressing out all summer.

LOL agreed. I wish people would update LSN like their law school futures depended on it. On another note, I hope a ton (to be safe) of UGA admitted students get off the wait list for their preferred school, haha.

I swear there are fewer applicants this year. & Naturally, I'd like to think more of us would be accepted to fill the class. However, I came across an article that law schools are cutting down their class size to improve job prospects for their future grads. I think this might be the case this year.

yeah, a current UGA law student told me he overheard an admin saying they're strict on 220 max this year.

I was just told by Dean Ramsey Bridges that if spaces should become available, the committee will meet to "replace the student who withdrew." She said that preference to Georgia residents is typically given to waitlist admits.

That combined with the priority wait list, sounds like I'm doomed. If I'm gonna move to GA anyways, does that make me a GA resident? lol... agh, don't they want my OOS money???

I feel like the entire law school process is teaching you how to be patient and wait. LSAT scores feel like they take forever, then we have to wait on decisions.. What is a couple more weeks haha?

This whole process definitely tested my patience. Who knows what law school is going to do? But I'm glad, at least, we can laugh along the way.

I don't know if anyone's following LSN, I check once in a while (if not everyday, lol), saw someone updated his status: WL->Rejected. I jolted to check my status checker. I'm safe, for now, but it's scary to know they're rejecting people off wait list again :/ (unless he was rejected a while ago and is just updating it).

Lots of people seem to be getting of the WL at higher ranked schools, so hopefully there will be a trickle down to UGA.

lol, I was thinking of the trickle down effect, too. I'd imagine it taking a while before it hits UGA.

Somebody on LSN withdrew their WL acceptance today. Looks legit.

I didn't expect a lot of movement for this week, but I didn't think there would be zero movement.

New scores came out today, here's to hoping people who don't want UGA got great scores to get off other WLs!

Already July and barely any movement. What happened to the priority list, or do the people who got off of it just don't come on TLS OR LSN?

Sent an email to Ramsey, got an instant reply that she is out the entire week and will return Monday. That has to be a bad sign

I'm not sure, are you on the priority list? I was told via email that they have been checking for spots every day (but who knows)... I'm resigned to the fact now that if I get in it will be the day school starts.

I'm told by dean Ramsey by email that they dont anticipate taking anyone off the waitlist at all
