Just updated to today.... anyone else?

I'm still at 3/12, but if you got updated today that's almost assuredly a good sign.

Why would it necessarily be a good sign versus a sign of a ding?

As we've discussed throughout this thread, the groupings seem to be pretty random. I will say, though, that my group (2/17-->3/19) seemed ding-heavy.

I'm 2/17, 3/1, and today. I just want a decision soon. Will let you all know of it was good or bad when I hear!

I am so confused now. I don't know what to expect anymore. How many 2/17 - 3/15's are out there??

I have no idea what to think. The latest batch of waitlists and rejections was from several different UR2 dates. Maybe they are further slimming down each group? The only thing that gives me hope is that it seems there is still a lot of acceptances that need to be given out. The entering class is usually around 250, and based on law school numbers the amount admitted is around 800. LSN shows that only 150ish people have been accepted. I Know LSN will never be completely accurate, but nevertheless this amount is pretty small compared to other schools with small class sizes. For example Cornell, which shows around 230 acceptances.

So we can hopefully take this to be a good sign. On the other hand, it shows how incredibly slow Upenn has been, and it's somewhat starting to frustrate me.

Thank you for being optimistic about this whole process. In any case, I see decisions coming out in a couple of weeks. I am glad that I have not been rejected yet. I did write a supplemental essay, so I don't know if there much I can do at this point. Although, my numbers are not fantastic for Penn, I hope they will like me.

Next few weeks? I'm thinking the next few days. Yesterday, they sent out rejections and waitlists after 9 pm. That suggests to me that they're staying up late and working hard to get decisions out.
