Admitted Student Swag - c/o 2015

Post by Liquox » Mon Mar 05, 2012 7:47 pm

Fun thread for those of you who got swag. Feel free to post what you got from who, and what's your favorite item.

---

So far I've gotten key chains and flash drives, my fav being the flash drive from WUSTL as it came the day after I lost my old one.

Syracuse Law T-Shirt is the best thing I've gotten.

I got a T-Shirt from DePaul.

Also, when getting the usual info from schools over the last year, Belmont (who I had NO intention of applying to), sent a 2 GB flashdrive with their info in it.

Deleted it, rubber off the school logo, good to go.

I got a t-shirt from Rutger's Camden. I'm still undecided on if I will attend. That's been the only thing I've gotten so far. Too bad they don't give out swag for WL, since that's what the majority of my decisions have been...lol.

I got a nice scarf from Chapman....

You know...that little school in Orange County California, where it was 77 degrees today.....

The coldest I've ever seen in here (OC) was for about three hours in the middle of the night in January when it was around the mid-30s. Yeah. Dumb. But a nice scarf anyway.

T-shirt from FSU. That's it so far, but I'm hopefully optimistic.

NYU gave a notepad of post-its with a Class of 2015 tag on it, plenty helpful since I'd run out of post-its during midterm season. Stanford shirt takes the cake, however, but I wish it were a little bit smaller. :)

CLS sends a shit ton of stuff. it's not particularly high quality but the sheer quantity is impressive. books and magazines and publications and stuff. they did send a new york tourist book which was cool.

however, nyu's post it notes are prob my fave.

UofA gives a usb in the shape of a key with their logo on it... it's actually really cool (if you're a nerd, like me, and love a free usb)

EDIT: the key is actually the admissions packet.. so, depending how you look at it, it's not really a gift :( lol

Penn: Nice cocktail reception and an admitted students folder that weighs more than my laptop (seriously, it's awesome!)

Georgetown: T-shirt (with Hoya Laya on it, it's seven shades of adorable!), little squeezy bulldog, lots of books, chocolate bars, a tote bag (it's an awesome tote bag!), a note pad, and writing utensils

UCLA: A DVD about the school that doesn't work

Michigan has a rad flash drive. Duke has a cute notepad! I want this GTOWN stuff you reference, fishy!

Don't forget the Gtown sunglasses, easily the best part of the bag.

Vandy sent a bumper sticker and UC Irvine mailed a copy of their law review, which is hands down my favorite - even if that doesn't really constitute swag.

This is true! And at popular request, the swag bag! (-shirt since it's in the laundry somewhere)
