Can Vandy's deposit be paid online? Still not sure I'm going to pull the trigger, but I'd like to know how...

So I just booked my trip for the April 6th ASW. Are most of you all leaving on Saturday or Sunday? Anyone else staying at the Scarrit Bennet Center?

I would love to go to vandy but I have never been to nashville before, and have no clue what the place is like. Im an international student and am currently overseas, so cant visit can anyone share their thoughts about the place in general?
1. Do you need a car?
2. Are the people more on the "friendly" side?
3. Where do most vandy graduates end up going?
4. Is Nashville considered to be a safe place?

1. I know some people that don't have cars, but I don't think I could do it. Almost everything is convenient to the school but there is no grocery store in easy walking distanceSchang1 wrote:I would love to go to vandy but I have never been to nashville before, and have no clue what the place is like. 2. Vandy is really laid-back and chill. Almost everyone I've met is awesome and it's a pretty tight-knit community
3. People end up everywhere. I'm only a 1L but it seems like all my friends want (and are at least getting 1L gigs) wherever they want. I'll probably be working in Washington state this summer
4. Nashville and the area around Vandy is very nice. I'm a girl living alone and I've never felt unsafe walking back from bars alone at night.
Let me know if you have any more questions!

I probably should, though I almost always get out of work when admissions is closed for the day. I'll probably just be lazy and mail it when/if the time comes.

For those who were intrigued by the note in the most recent update about 1Ls taking an elective next year, I asked them for more info and they said that the details are still being ironed out, but it will be offered in the spring and as of now will replace Con Law, though you can elect to take that instead of another course. Just thought I'd share!

As other schools take FOREVER to provide financial aid info or even accept/deny my application I fall more deeply in love with Vanderbilt...

I did, but I didn't think there would be any potential for a city near Vandy, so I didn't even include Vanderbilt in my list of schools...hoping this wasn't a big mistake on my part now though, haha...salsahips wrote:Is anyone applying for the SEO summer internship??

Corporate law summer internship. Really competitive but the gig is sweet. Also, they pretty much only accept minorities.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
