"I got a full ride to <TTT> but I'm going to pay sticker for <T14> because US News publishes these rankings that are like really important for jobs and stuff. I'll make top 10% easy and pay off my 200k+ of debt after like a year at my guaranteed Biglaw job."

I'm gonna go to this TTT, but I'm definitely going to transfer after 1L anyway so it doesn't matter.

Obviously I was incorrect because you must have spoken with everyone who's applying to law school this cycle. Bless your heart.

Awesome :).

The difference between a TTT and a T14 for job prospects is usually 10-fold or more (~5% NLJ prospects vs. 40%+). So you don't have to be anywhere top 10% to get that biglaw job. T14s are infinitely better for "jobs and stuff" and there is a shitload of empirical evidence to back that up. Sorry if reality offends the future TTTers of the world, but this caracature is stupid.
