Waitlisted today... very disappointed because it was my top choice from the start and from the email it seems like chances of getting in off the waitlist are pretty slim..... :(

In via call from Dean Tom :), missed the first call and saw that it was the admin office so called back and was put through to Dean Tom...no word of scholly just told about the dates of the Admitted Students Wknd and travel stipend.

Edit: In from Faculty Review round 1

I'm wondering what they think of me for the Class of 2015...

In all seriousness, I'm a touch disappointed by Berkeley's thinking that I'm not special enough to pass their "holistic" review process. Good on them, though, for not jumping at everyone above both of their 75ths. I can definitely appreciate that.

Dinged via email- it's my first rejection and, as Berkeley was my top choice throughout most of the cycle, I am angry! It was a but of a surprise, as i am above their medians. Looks like NYU it is, berkeley's loss :)
