In at Columbia 2015: Blue Pride__Poll better than nyu's ha
Since I am just too pumped about sneaking through the cracks and being accepted at Columbia I thought Id start this up. This thread is just mainly so that we can all talk about things like housing and admitted student weekend without annoying the rest of the crowd still waiting for a decision.
Getting some useful links besides the housing link (http://facilities.columbia.edu/housing/ ... mmodations) have proved to not be easy to come by. I say make this a collaborative effort and we become knowledgeable as a whole.
Also feel free to just post here and let the world know how happy you are ha. Look forward to meeting you hopefully interesting people out there.

Sigh I know there must be someone else out there excited to be attending. Does anyone know if they will be living on or off campus?

I think they haven't started RD decisions yet which is why no one can post in this thread...and there is already a Class of 2015 thread that ED admits probably post in.

I figured as much. Also I just watched a horse movie the other day which surprisingly was very touching. On that note I really like your name "freestallion"

so as you guys see I put 2012 in the title instead of 2015. Not very smart of me. Anyone know how to edit this?

Just hit 'edit' on the initial post and then change the Subject/Title areacallmepuck wrote:so as you guys see I put 2012 in the title instead of 2015. Not very smart of me. Anyone know how to edit this?

So which ASW are you all going to? I really wanted to go to the Feb 29th one, but I have a big work thing
I am really excited for the March 28th one, though! But really, why couldn't it be on a weekend? Running low on vacation days!
P.S. This could be a good poll for those of us who haven't committed to Columbia yet

Are other people combining the late March Columbia and NYU ASWs, even though they overlap by a few hours?

That's my plan.phl516 wrote:Are other people combining the late March Columbia and NYU ASWs, even though they overlap by a few hours?
Planning on sending my financial assistance form (i.e., for ASW reimbursement) to CLS tomorrow/Friday morning. I hope they reply quickly, since who knows when plane tickets are going to get more expensive.

Any local-ish people planning on going to one of the Monday preview days? I think I'm going to try to save myself the NYC hotel room $$ and just go to one of those instead of the ASWs.

Got my Admitted Student Handbook yesterday in the mail. It's actually pretty nice and gives a lot of good info (financial aid forms, e.g.,).

Anyone have any idea yet of what class they're sitting in one during the first ASW?

Is anyone working on their Financial Aid Questionnaire?
On the front side of the second page ("Columbia Law School Federal Direct Loan Request Form"), it asks for our name, SS#, and Columbia ID Number.....
Since we don't have Columbia ID Numbers yet, what are we supposed to do?
Also, if we signed a Master Promissory Note for undergrad, do we have to resign it for Grad school (Stafford and Grad PLUS)?

Re: In at Columbia 2015: Blue Pride...Poll better than nyu's ha
I looked at that this weekend and there's a bunch of info that only seems to apply to 2Ls and 3Ls. I'm just going to leave anything I can't answer blank.Bronck wrote:On the front side of the second page ("Columbia Law School Federal Direct Loan Request Form"), it asks for our name, SS#, and Columbia ID Number.....

Has anyone asked if we can just scan that thing and email it to them or does it have to be mailed hardcopy?

Not sure about your question, but we have to send in 2011/10 tax forms as well... so I was planning on sending the Questionnaire and tax forms in one packet to them.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
