In the past, has movement in held pool mirrored the dates of the held emails? First held, first to hear back?

I think I remember from reading last year's thread that only a few people got JS1s or JS2s, not enough to put together any kind of trend. Everyone else got waitlisted in the same batch (I think 4/21) or rejected maybe.

Lol... nothing.... yet. Just a JS1 over a week ago and haven't heard anything since. It seems eerily similar to your timeline if I remember correctly.

I went over last year's list on LSN and there were 14 people who got in off the WL, mostly around late April or early May. Don't give up hope...

i've always thought that they didn't stop reading the held pile, it too large for them to just ignore it until now...i think that b4 they gave out some js1s they had to compare some people to the held pile in order to determine if they deserved a js1 now, later or never.
Hopefully we get some news soon..but i'm learning not to expect much from Harvard..they seem to always disappoint.

Agreed. It is unfortunate, as I was hoping to have a decision from them before the start of April. In all likelihood, I certainly agree with you. Lots of JS2s are finding their way to applicants as well... With every person I see receiving a JSanything and Harvard has yet to get to the Hold Pile, makes me feel bad about my chances. Shiiiii
