Well I'm sure a lot of it has to do with stats, are you close (or in) both brackets?

The school does state, however, that the wait-list isn't ranked.

I just got in via email! 161/3.5... don't lose hope, 161/3.4! I was definitely expecting a rejection since I applied late at night on the last possible day, I like Pepperdine already for giving my procrastinating ass a chance lol

Congrats! That's when I applied, too. Power to the procrastinators!

I'm wondering if this is a ding for me. I called yesterday and they said they mail decisions (in general, didn't give my name). However, I have a mailing issue -- no mailbox at the house, so we use a POB. I gave both addresses, not knowing if decisions would be delivered USPS or FedEx. I'm outside LA, so I thought it would come by today, if it was mailed the day after I went DR.

Has anyone with a DR this week received a rejection by mail yet?

If accepted - how long between your DR and acceptance email?

Got in yesterday through email FTW! Anyone who went DR and got accepted gets an email inviting them to the acceptance day through open house, so you should check your email once your status becomes DR.

how come everyone is getting emails? They sent mine by post and refuse to tell me what the decision is by phone or email.

this means im not in, right?

Are you kidding? I'm wearing out the trackpad, reloading email since I went DR on Tuesday 4/3. I guess Gavel may be right and I got dinged.

Our numbers are below Pepper's medians. so not a complete surprise! I'm more annoyed with their "mail only" policy. It makes no sense to me.

Yeah, unfortunately, my LSDAS GPA is 95% from my 20s. Was hoping my recent GPA (3.0 at Ivy, 3.6 at Arty), 20 years of work experience and volunteer activities would offset bad grades from 20 years ago. Alas.

Was hopeful early in the week, with all the others who went DR getting accepted.

Edited to add, yeah, that surprises me. It's a lot of postage to spend on people you don't want! My other rejections have been by email.

Scholly info will be sent out via email today if you got an acceptance through email and dont have one through snail mail yet if you call and ask

They sent out the email b/c this friday is an open house and they didnt want potential students to get an acceptance letter later this week and have to scramble to find a flight to LAX on 2-3 days notice

I applied first week of Jan and got in mid feb. 3.67 with 160 here. What kind of scholly are ppl getting who got in? I only received loan assistance, and like the person a couple pages before me said, for the super low rate of 5-7%. So unless they change their offer as far as finaid goes, I will be withdrawing. IMO pepperdine is not worth the 200k-500k+ ill ultimtely be paying back (depending on if it takes me 15 years to pay back). Congrats to those who are getting a ride!!
