Not sure, mine says the same thing now. Now my status checker says file in initial review 11/30/11.

Nope. I'm still 'complete and ready for review'. But I didn't get complete until late November so it might be a while.

My file finally switched from 'complete' to 'initial review' today. I went complete on 10/5 but applied to the pt program so I dunno if that has anything to do with the length of time it's taking. I did call about a week ago and they said the first wave of apps ( complete before dec 1) will get a decision before break or early, early January at latest. Anyone know if they post the decision on the status checker or if it's strictly snail mail?

The status checker is done through LSAC, and for LSU, applicants said that the status changes to "Decision has been rendered" or something along those lines. You are emailed with the decision I believe.

When it changes to admissions committee for review, you are probably a week or two out I would assume.

Same here. Any ideas if "scholarship consideration" means we were actually awarded a scholly? Did anyone not get that on their status checker?

Accepted without any items stating scholarship consideration via status checker. It says, "Congratulations on your acceptance to Loyola University New Orleans College of Law! Your acceptance package will be on its way shortly. If you are interested in visiting our law school, please let us know" at the top for those wondering. The decision says admitted as well.

I'd point out too that my status checker's items requirements list changed after my decision date. They accepted me on November 30th, and the items I posted about in my initial post changed on December 5th.

The "admitted" status didn't show up until today, but I believe once you get the photo, transcript, etc. it may mean you've been accepted.

My mailings updated to reflect a letter going out today, so admit packet should be soon, assuming scholarship info as well.

My status checker says Accepted with scholarship consideration. Apparently the acceptance letter went out 12/19, but I haven't received it yet.

I got the acceptance letter in the mail yesterday, but the letter did not include any scholarship info. It said that scholarships will be decided by March 1st.

Been under review since the 2nd. Anyone been admitted with similar? I have pretty remarkable ECs as well. SGA VP, Nationally ranked in Debate. Ran for political office and worked in D.C

I have very similar numbers: 2.75/159. I've worked in a prestigious New Orleans law firm for about 4 years as a paralegal and have great recommendations from attorneys at my work (who are also law professors at Tulane and LSU). Sounds like our apps are very similar. I didn't go complete until December 6th though, so I'm assuming it may take a while for me to hear something. I applied to LSU as well (may be a little bit of a stretch), did you? Keep me updated on your progress because I feel that our fates will probably be very similar.
