I was accepted a month ago and still have not received a packet. I received a financial aid letter but still nothing with my acceptance or scholarship offer. I even called the office and they said they'd re-send it but I still have nothing

Well, I have been deferred for months now. It is almost July and still no word. I sent in my letter of continued interest in May. I'm still waiting.... any thoughts on this, please?

I called them yesterday with questions. The person who I spoke with did mention that the class is full at this time.

I called about an hour ago and the person I spoke with did not say this. She seemed like she was in a rush for me to hang up the phone but she did say that they just started the reviewing process again. I mentioned moving my application up in the review line and she seemed very confused by this "moving application" process and simply stated that all applications that are still waiting will be reviewed so there is no need to move applications.

As for as how wait-lists work, the class being full is not informational to me. Because wait-lists work in the sense that all those who were wanted before you were offered admission >> the class is full >> offers are made at other schools >> those making the class full will drop >> making room for you.

So I will still wait....in application purgatory. It is agony.

Sooo...anyone still interested in IIT and is still WL-ed? What are your current situations? I'm moving on but I still am very much interested because of IIT's IP Law program.

yeah i'm still on the deferred list and still very much interested. i really hope to hear something soon and not mid-august. To that end, I'd much prefer to know a decision, any decision sooner than later, so that I can figure my next steps.

2L OCI was 20-30 IIRC. Even with decent grades and loads of WE I only got one interview though

edit - But I was able to land a paid 2L SA based only on personal connections, not through OCI

I just got a huge offer from my number 1 school so unless comes back with something larger, I will be withdrawing.

They only gave me $8,000 with no stips. My number one gave me more $$$ with no stips and their tuition is cheaper. Looks like I'm out.
