Same here, this is taking forever!! Davis is competing with USC for least helpful status checker lol

Aha! I feel special. Submitted 1/5 and went into evaluation on 2/3. Then again... Davis is a huge huge reach for me, so maybe i'll just get rejected faster... ;)

I got an email after I submitted my need access thing saying I would likely qualify for a $13,000 grant but that they wouldn't confirm it until they looked at my FAFSA and send out an award letter. I was kind of surprised I'd be getting any grant considering my parents income. Hopefully they hand out a few merit scholarships as well.

That's what my email said, too. The grant is exciting news, for sure, but I'm out-of-state, and I'm not sure how I'm going to make up the rest. Did anyone apply for the MLK scholarship? Keeping my fingers crossed for that one...

I've been in "awaiting evaluation" since freakin' October with numbers at or above both medians. So frustrating!

Anybody else get the reminder to do the need-aid and Fafsa before March 2nd from Davis's FA department?

I'm currently Eval in Progress if it matters.

it could be because I filled out the fafsa but didn't complete my need aid yet? If it's not that, maybe it's a good thing? (crossing fingers)

Nope but I already did the FAFSA for them.

Complete since November and in Eval currently

Edit: LOL spoke too soon; just got it. Also, oops, I should do Need Access. But I'd like to know if I'm actually in before I spend $28 on it...

Same here. I just got that email with "Financial Aid Notification from UC Davis School of Law - How to Apply" in the subject title.

I completed FAFSA at the start of this month and recently submitted my Need Access application.
