I have just received acceptance at the UC Davis! through the status checker. you can't explain that.

I withdrew my application this morning via email. I'm still waiting to be under review and I have to make a decision by April 1.

You, sir, are an inspiration to me. I wouldn't have attended without a sizable scholarship anyway. I'm giving them two days. Sorry for all the whining, but I'm actually sort of angry about this.

After I emailed they called me and told me a decision had been mailed and the status checker would be updated. Got my admit packet today! Odd.

I just spent the day at UC Davis and loved it. The new law building is great and it's going to be even better when they finish renovating the old building. The woman I spoke to in financial aid said final award notices will go out via the admitted students website on April 2nd. She said they're waiting on final funding numbers from the state so they can set tuition but she made it seem like she was expecting a pretty substantial increase in tuition.

Anyway, coming up here has definitely complicated my decision. I saw Hastings yesterday and it was fine but I liked Davis and UC Irvine a lot more so it's going to be tough deciding between those two and USC if I'm accepted there.

Davis, out of state, is now the second most expensive law school in the country, after UCLA.

Cornell is a grand more than OoS at UCs. I think I read Davis is actually 11th.

At least Davis is a cheaper city in California to live in than SF or LA.

I am getting so worried... been awaiting eval since 1/23 but I need to make a decision soon on Hastings since I was offered a scholarship. Davis is my first choice since I am currently living here and love the school so I hope they get back to me before the Hastings deadline!

Wreak? That sounds terrible...LOL. How much is hastings' deposit? It might be worth the money to buy some more time waiting for davis...I am having to do that at a couple schools too.....bite the bullet for a few hundred bucks while waiting for everyone else to catch up.

For those who have been accepted, has scholarship info been included in the admission packet? I received my packet last night but no sholarship info...I had expected to receive some money based on my numbers - anyone know???

Complete 1/20 and still nothing. I submitted on 1/5 and was emailed my file was complete on 1/20. Are there any others still "Awaiting Evaluation" in my boat?
