In this morning via email with full tuition! Absolutely thrilled. Going to be difficult to turn down.

Got in with the Dean's scholarship. Prolly have the scores to go somewhere between 15-30. I'm wondering if this much money is too much to turn down.

Anyone in a similar situation/is the extra cost of tuition really worth that much of a difference in tuition? (I have family in Philadelphia and connections to the city so being a regional school isn't that big of a disadvantage to me).

Admitted today! I didn't hear about any money, so I assume I didn't get any. I have the Post 9/11 GI Bill, so that helps. Have to weigh things carefully. Congrats all!

I received the full tuition from Nova but also got in to BC. Nova is not ranked nearly has high, but coming from a situation where cost is a major factor, I will probably take the scholarship to Nova over sticker at BC. Paying sticker (which I am assuming even though their scholarship packets have not been sent yet) is not really an option for me. If your parents are paying for your education or if somehow cost is not a concern for you, then go with the better school.

I was admitted a few weeks ago with a full scholarship. Excited to say the least. Does anyone know how the admissions scandal has affected them? How do they place in DC/NY? I imagine it's difficult in Philly going up against Penn.

Nothing in NYC/DC. Philly is fine because Penn grads self-select out of the city.

I feel like the top of the class is able to place in those cities, but feel free to correct me. Also does anyone know if there is an admitted students facebook page?

Doesn't seem like it, unless I'm just bad at Facebook. Looks like we have to wait until admissions/a random person makes one.

No. Maybe 1 or 2 lucky people get into NYC or DC from Nova. Top 5% barely gets people interviews in NYC.

I'm a 2L who went through OCI at Villanova. Are you seriously questioning me? If so, that's pretty fucking stupid.

There is much truth to this. This is not the school for NYC or DC. From my own personal experience, we more of the Wilmington to Princeton corridor.

Who knows. You should probably expect some movement this week.

It is certainly an appropriate time for a LOCI.

Couldnt find a FB page either. Anyone know if there is an accepted students page on the regular Villanova site?? On another note, the open house is a day before deposits are due!? Good thing I visited last weekend bc that seems like a very short window to decide!!!
