+1
Anybody else get that under mailings yet?
Wonder why they would post letters a week before they plan on mailing them?

Mine doesn't have anything listed under mailings, which is a little disconcerting

Well, I think it's disconcerting that I have something listed there when not many others do
Seems to me that a ding or a WL letter would be a lot easier to put together than an acceptance packet.

I don't think it means anything guys. I don't have anything listed under mailings but some of you went blank a couple days before I did. I think its more likely to just be a data entry thing and that decisions have been reached for everyone that has gone blank, they just haven't gotten around to inputting that message for some of us. I would bet we all see that same message on monday or by tuesday. The stranger thing is why they would hold decisions until the 23rd if they are already made.

Anyone from last year have any insight? I just wish they would update the status checker and remove all the guessing games. Why hold all of the decisions until the 23rd?

Anybody think we will see some status checker movement this week in terms of our decisions?

I also got the 'decision letter sent' message under mailings today, but with today's date. So I'm pretty sure now it isn't a good or a bad sign, I was a day or two behind the rest of you in the rest of the process too. I wish they would just post it on the status checker.....

It does... it says 'decision letter has been sent', and the mailing date is 12/19/2011.....is your date still listed as 23rd? who knows what it means, im pretty sick of trying to read tea leaves at this point answer should be a few days away....and the amount due does still say 0.00

Yeah, I still have the 23rd. Maybe I'm reading too much into this, but I wonder of they're sending acceptances out first and then rejections on the 23rd?

Do you guys who have the 19th as your mailing date have a different amount other 0.00 showing? All I have showing is application fee of 65.00.

Maybe for those of us who had mailings posted on Friday, they actually mailed them on Friday and the 12/23 was a mistake. I just can't really u derstand why they would post something and entire week before they mailed it.

Maybe they mailed the rejections on the 23rd since they will be closed for break and didn't want people calling to complain? I dunno. I find it so odd though.

Yes, but why would they get them ready and enter them
a whole week before they mail them? That doesn't really make sense

I agree with you, completely. It doesn't make sense at all, but it seems logical and likely at this point.

If you don't mind me asking, what are your numbers? (you can pm them to me if you prefer) I'm not a shoe-in, but I'm well within the middle 50% from last year with lots of leadership in my softs and a 3.7 gpa in grad school. Maybe it's wishful thinking, but I'm hoping I wasn't just rejected - especially this early in their cycle.

I'm above the 75th percentile in GPA and below the 25th percentile in LSAT, so a pretty huge reverse splitter. I'm sure that probably won't help alleviate any of your concerns, as those numbers are probably going to get me dinged.
