Congrats to all those with scholarship offers. I was just wondering did the scholarship info come through e-mail or regular mail?

I just went under review for the second time yesterday. My status checker updated to complete on 1/6, to UR on 1/15 and, again, to UR on 1/24. Hoping this is a good sign. I applied Part-Time, btw.

Mine shows an error message when I follow the steps to check on aid BLS connect. Anybody know if paper aid letters come later? Or perhaps they just didn't give me any...neeko wrote:They email you a link to check it through the BLS connect or whatever its called.MsKhrystyna wrote:Congrats to all those with scholarship offers. They come in the mail as well. Mine was doing that error thing too at first, just click on prospective students and then log in, if I remember right.naw wrote:Mine shows an error message when I follow the steps to check on aid BLS connect. Probably is a good sign since multiple updates were a good sign for full time people. What are your numbers again?30-Something wrote:I just went under review for the second time yesterday. (I think its a bad sign for me that I went complete on 11/28, UR on 1/15... and no update since)

And I don't know if it's a good boat to be in considering we have relatively similar numbers lolz0rk wrote:I am in the same boat as you :-/Kess wrote:Probably is a good sign since multiple updates were a good sign for full time people. Re: Brooklyn Law School C/O 2015
Ah, well I guess it's sort of impossible to compare cycles of URMs and non-URMs... my numbers are slightly better 155/4.0 (actually slightly higher with the whole LSAC A+ conversion), but I am non-URM. I am also a fellow CUNY student. Good luck!30-Something wrote: Well, my numbers are kind of terrible, like auto-reject terrible... But, I'm a URM: PR female. And who knows what this cycle is going to be like for URMs.
LSAT- 151 (ashamed)
LSDAS GPA- 3.36 (My GPA for the last three years at CCNY has been above a 4.12. I graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa, but my gpa from YEARS ago from FIT obviously had to be averaged in, bringing me down to a 3.36. Ugh.)

Re: Brooklyn Law School C/O 2015
I've got some scholarship advice for you guys. I applied last year and I was accepted. At first I was offered around 17,500/year (can't remember exact number now) I was never planning on attending, but I didn't withdraw until the last day I could. By that time, they had upped the scholarship to about 26,000/year, without me ever asking for it. After the withdraw date, they even offered me about 38,000/year. They just kept making it more without me ever asking for any. If you want to go and you aren't happy with your scholarship, DO NOT deposit right away. Wait it out, and ask for more. This didn't only happen to me, but they offered a lot more money to quite a number of people in that thread. Oh yeah, I didn't have great numbers, I had a 3.35, 165.

Application went complete on 12/5, no activity since. Is this something to be concerned about?

Complete since 11/15, and only in the last few days have I seen the status updating (In Review with changing dates). You will probably see movement in the next week or so if these are first come-first served.jlb24 wrote:Application went complete on 12/5, no activity since. Is this something to be concerned about?

I have been In Review since 11/22 and no movement since. Makes me wonder what it is about my application that requires 2 and a half months of review.

Went under review in early November and finally saw some movement the other day when my In Review date updated. I am a bit concerned and surprised that it has taken close to 3 months to render a decision. Trying reeeeally hard to be patient...
