I wanted to but couldn't get off work. I will be going to one later in the cycle though.

I'll be there. I got a very brief look at it a few months ago, I'm hoping to see more now.

Just applied. Numbers are 3.36/163. What are my chances at a substantial scholarship?

Assuming they're still giving as many scholarships as before, you're good for a decent scholly.

yeah, im pt...my lsat is above average for rutg-n but my gpa is low. plenty of soft factors on my ap though, 3+ years of WE, M.Sc. completed part time with a good GPA, 1+ current internship doing IP stuff for UMDNJ...

im going crazy playing the waiting game.

I'm pt also. Didn't do as well as I wanted on the december lsat so I'm applying now and sending an addendum asking them to hold off on their decision until the february results come in. This is the school I want to go to so I'm hoping for the best!!

good job!! I am applying to part-time. My numbers right now are 3.3/152 and I am retaking in February so I'm hoping I get that score up a few points to get into the part-time program. Does anyone know how part-timers are included in the class ranking system?

When I toured the school they seemed to be adamant that the PT program is not necessarily a way to get in with sub par numbers... They look for a demonstrated "fit factor". Having WE and a graduate degree def helps! My UGPA sucks but a demonstrated ability to complete a masters while working full time probably really helped with their "fit factor" assessment.

But, the earlier you apply the better... Last year they accepted a total of 128 people to the PT program and about 60 matriculated.

I'm applying to the PT program because I have a non-profit job that I'm working at now and committed two years to. I plan on transferring to the FT program after the first year when I leave that job.

Thats a great supplement to application... earlier you apply the higher your chances!

Even though they were sobering financial details, there is no way in hell I can dorm or live with my parents.

-really good impression from the faculty/staff. They seem to truly care and were approachable and genuine.
-class size was smaller than I expected for Rutgers (sat in on a Con Law class)
-good looking facilities- the building seems fairly new and the campus was safer than I expected as well
-heard from current students about journals, LR, moot court, etc.

The open house helped seal the deal for me at RU. So far, it seems like a great place to get a legal education, carries a LOT of weight in NJ, and the overall "vibe" of the school was extremely pleasant and I could definitely see myself there. If you have any specific questions, I could try and answer them. Hope this helps neeko
The one thing I didn't like was the Con Law class....I'm not sure which section you were in, but very few people were talking in the class. It felt like many classes I had/have in undergrad.
